We eat rice everyday and it is as well the source of many ingredients such as rice vinegar for sushi, rice wine for cooking; fish and salt are the source of the famous fish sauce, the most important element of Thai and Vietnamese cooking. Most of the country has long coastline, as well as rivers and lake, so they have plentiful supplies of fish. Soy sauce plays an important role in Chinese and Japanese cooking. Wok cooking is common and best for maintaining the freshness and the natural flavor of the food; it is the way of life, it is the work of art.
